Behaviour Coaching

Support for dogs experiencing fear, reactivity, aggression, or other behaviour concerns. Together we'll work to understand your dog's behaviour, create a realistic plan, and help both of you move forward with confidence.

What is Behaviour coaching?

Behaviour Coaching is designed for dogs experiencing more complex behaviour concerns that can make everyday life feel stressful or overwhelming.

Whether your dog struggles with reactivity, fear, aggression, resource guarding, or other behaviour challenges, we'll work together to understand what's driving those behaviours before creating a personalized coaching plan.

My goal isn't simply to change your dog's behaviour—it's to help you understand your dog, build practical skills, and give both of you the confidence to navigate everyday life more successfully.

Is Behaviour coaching right for you?

Behaviour Coaching May Be Right If...

  • Walks have become stressful.

  • Your dog reacts to people or other dogs.

  • Visitors are difficult.

  • Your dog guards food or toys.

  • Your dog is not comfortable being touched or handled at the vet.

  • Your dog fights through the fence with neighbour dogs

  • You aren’t sure why your dog does what they do

Here’s how it works

1. Complete Your Intake Forms

Every Behaviour Coaching journey begins with a detailed intake form. This gives me the opportunity to learn about your dog's history, daily routine, medical background, and the behaviour concerns you'd like to address before we meet.

2. Book Your Behaviour Assessment & Consultation To Begin

Once you have filled out your Intake forms, you will then receive a link to book your 90 minute Behaviour Consultation & Assessment.

At our Behaviour Consultation & Assessment, together, we'll discuss your goals, observe your dog's behaviour, identify contributing factors, and begin creating a personalized coaching and management plan.

3. Coaching In The Right
Environment

Behaviour doesn't happen in a vacuum. When appropriate, coaching sessions take place in your home, neighbourhood, or another location where your dog naturally experiences their challenges, allowing us to work with real-life situations whenever possible.

4. Continued Care & Support

Your initial 90-minute Behaviour Consultation gives us the time to thoroughly assess your dog's behaviour, discuss your goals, and create a personalized coaching plan. From there, follow-up coaching sessions are 60 minutes and focus on building skills, refining your training plan, and working through new challenges as they arise.

After each session, you'll receive personalized homework and practical next steps to continue making progress between appointments. As your dog learns, we'll adjust your coaching plan and celebrate each success along the way.

  • My coaching is built around clear communication, practical skills, and helping you understand your dog. Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals, using a thoughtful combination of motivation, management, and clear guidance to help you and your dog succeed together. Because every dog is different, your coaching plan will always be adapted to your needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

  • Coaching packages are non-refundable once purchased. Because your package reserves time in my schedule and includes personalized planning, they're designed to be used throughout your training journey. If your goals or circumstances change, I'm always happy to discuss the best way to use your remaining sessions.

  • Every dog learns at their own pace, so there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients reach their goals in just a couple of sessions, while others benefit from ongoing coaching. During your Welcome Call and first lesson, we'll discuss your goals and recommend a training plan that's realistic for you and your dog.
