Private Coaching

Personalized coaching designed around your dog, your goals, and the life you want to live together.

Coaching That Meets You Where You Are

Whether you're raising a new puppy, polishing everyday manners, or working through more complex behaviour challenges, every coaching journey begins by understanding your dog, not just the behaviours you see, but the goals you have together.

Each coaching program has its own starting point, but they all share the same purpose: creating a personalized plan that gives you the skills, confidence, and support to enjoy everyday life with your dog.

Why Coaching?

While I'm a professional dog trainer, you'll often hear me describe what I do as coaching and that's intentional.

Dogs don't attend lessons on their own. They learn through the people they live with every day. My role isn't just to teach your dog new skills; it's to help you understand why those skills matter, how to apply them, and how to communicate with your dog in a way that makes sense to both of you.

I'll guide you, demonstrate techniques, answer questions, and create a personalized plan, but lasting change happens between our sessions. That's why I see every lesson as a coaching session: giving you the knowledge, confidence, and support to continue building a great relationship with your dog long after I leave.

Because in the end, my goal isn't to have a dog that listens to me, it's to help you build a dog that listens to you.

Behaviour Coaching

Personalized support for dogs experiencing more complex behaviour challenges.

Every behaviour has a reason. Together, we'll identify what's driving your dog's behaviour and develop a personalized plan that helps them feel more confident while giving you the skills to support them every step of the way.

Behaviour Coaching can help with:

  • Reactivity toward dogs or people

  • Fear, anxiety, and confidence building

  • Resource guarding

  • Aggression and conflict between dogs

  • Handling and cooperative care concerns

  • Recovery after a frightening or traumatic experience

  • Barking, lunging, and other challenging behaviours

Continue learning together in a structured, supportive environment.

Community Coaching brings Lady with Dogs clients together to continue building skills, confidence, and relationships beyond private coaching and group classes. Whether you're introducing dogs, learning to read play, practicing calm walks, or joining a guided training session, every experience is designed to help both dogs and handlers grow together.

Community Coaching is great for:

  • Friends or family training together

  • Guided dog introductions

  • Understanding healthy play

  • Calm group walks

  • Continuing your training alongside other Lady with Dogs clients

Activities change throughout the year, giving you new opportunities to continue learning with your dog and the Lady with Dogs community.

Community Coaching is best suited for dogs that can safely work around one another. If your dog has a history of aggression or significant reactivity toward other dogs, Behaviour Coaching is the best place to start.
